Metal shredders are specially designed for processing high-hardness waste materials, such as automobile shells, home appliance shells, aluminum alloy profiles, etc. They use a heavy hammer or blade structure, with a working pressure of more than 300 tons, and can effectively crush metal sheets with a thickness of less than 15mm.

Power system: 55kW motor is the basic configuration of metal machines, while plastic machines usually only need 15-30kW
Safety design: Metal equipment must be equipped with overload protection devices, while plastic machines pay more attention to dust prevention and anti-winding
Performance advantages
Plastic shredders have the characteristics of low energy consumption (0.3-0.5kWh/t) and easy maintenance, which is particularly suitable for small and medium-sized recycling stations. Although the investment cost of metal shredders is relatively high, the processing efficiency is outstanding (8-15t/h), and the new generation of products has realized intelligent sorting functions, which can simultaneously separate plastic and rubber impurities in metals.
